I think I've got this figured out now

Ghost   Node.js   Web Development

I wanted to dip my toes into some new technology while also getting a new blog up and running. I'd heard some good buzz about Ghost, so I decided to go with it. It's pretty nice and it's the first Node.js app that I've experimented with. It was a little tricky getting it up and running on Heroku.

I followed the directions I found here, which worked very nicely for the most part. I ended up running into trouble when I added in this new theme. I had wanted to get the theme directly via git, but given that my application was also stored in its own git repository, I think that there must have been some kind of conflict. The simplest solution ended up being just removing the theme from my repository, downloading the current theme source as a zip file, extracting that into the proper directory, and then pushing everything back up to Heroku.

Now to do a bit of tinkering, as I don't think I dig this color scheme very much. I do like that this theme supports syntax highlighting, though. I don't know that I'll post code snippets very often, but it's nice to have the option!
